O, ’tis a thing of beauty, so shiny and black! This is a one-of-a-kind studio artisan piece that is obviously from the hand of an inspired designer. Marked “Jessi’s” on a metal tag, this dramatically elegant black onyx choker necklace just oozes rich, unique style. The artisan combined faceted pear, oval and round beads with smooth lentil beads and tiny faceted button beads to create interest and texture in the design. I have several necklaces by this artisan, who attached a metal tag stamped “Jessi’s” to only this one. All of the others are absent any maker’s mark. The entire composition is secured on a foundation of strong silver wire, accents of which are, in places, intentionally left exposed as part of the design.

• SIZE: The length of the strand is 16 inches. The main design element is 3 1/2 inches wide X 5 inches high, including the drop.

• CONDITION: Excellent.

• SIGNED: “Jessi’s” on a metal tag near the clasp.
