Retro Merry Mushroom Whistling Tea Kettle

This vintage Sears Merry Mushroom kettle dates from the early 1970's. The enamel kettle measures 8" wide by 8" high and is decorated on the front and back with the Merry Mushroom design. It has a brown handle.

The outside of the kettle is in very good condition. The inside has wear and surface rust around the rim and a small chip on the inside bottom. I believe this is a whistling tea kettle but the whistle doesn't work.
