SOLD Vintage Owl Brooch with Rhinestone Eyes Book Piece

Don't let this one fly away. This gorgeous owl brooch is shown on page 116 of the 2001 Nancy Schiffer's Costume Jewelry - The Fun of Collecting - 3rd edition. It has a faceted peridot colored body with a faceted green head, 2 rhinestone eyes and is perched on a textured gold-tone branch.

The owl pin measures 2-1/2" long by 1" across the top. It is in very good condition with a bit of wear to the gold-tone finish. The faceted stones sparkle like glass but I believe they may be plastic. It has a sturdy pin and locking clasp.
