HENRY MAYO BATEMAN 1887-1970 Henry Mayo Bateman was a cartoonist, one of England's greatest, and one of the most highly paid and sort after. He studied art at Westminster College and Goldsmiths College London before working for three years in the studio of Dutch painter Charles van Havenmaet.
