McCoy Cookie House Jar 1958 with Split Roof Lid

The McCoy House Cookie Jar was in production from 1958-1960 according to Roerig in The Collector's Encyclopedia of Cookie Jars. (McCoy Catalog # 151)

This delightful cottage styled house has a green tiled roof with two attic windows and a chimney. The lid opens from the chimney half of the roof.

The stone brick house is a beige-green shade, with white framed windows and doors that have additional red trim. The words COOKIE HOUSE is written in yellow on a plaque above the larger front window.

The house has a low stone wall with green hedges. There is also a backdoor and windows, and steps leading to the front and back doors.

Condition is very good with only very mild interior crazing, and slight loss of cold paint in a few areas. The bottom has the McCoy USA mark.

Dimensions are approx 8 x 6 x 9.5 inches
