The background inside this pendant is textured with triangles which make lovely reflections around the 6mm garnet centered in the dish. The exterior is polished to a high shine, and the whole piece is oxidized to accentuate the details. It has a strong magnetic clasp. The sterling chain connects through tubes down each side of the pendant. The pendant itself is fine silver made from PMC*.

To compare, Fine Silver is 99.9% pure silver. Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver with the remainder comprised of other metals (usually copper.)

PMC, or Precious Metal Clay, is made from super-fine particles of fine silver mixed with an organic binder resulting in clay. After creating a piece of jewelry, art, or other item from this clay, it is fired at very high temperatures in a kiln where the organic binders burn away leaving .999 pure silver also called Fine Silver.
