I've heard them described as reminding people of everything from bubbles to the cylinder of a revolver! Seriously!

These fabulous & fun earrings are made from PMC*. Each earring has a dichroic glass cabochon, one ruddy red, one greenish, and hang from sterling silver posts.

*PMC, or Precious Metal Clay, is made from super-fine particles of fine silver mixed with an organic binder resulting in clay. After creating a piece of jewelry, art, or other item from this clay, it is fired at very high temperatures in a kiln where the organic binders burn away leaving .999 pure silver also called Fine Silver.

To compare, Fine Silver is 99.9% pure silver. Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver with the remainder comprised of other metals (usually copper.)
