This stunning hand made chain is made from 16 gauge Sterling Silver with 9 Fine Silver pendants each containing a cabochon of Dichroic glass. Each piece of Dichroic glass appears primarily green but with flashes of purple or teal depending on how the light hits it and the angle it's viewed from. The pendants and clasp are Fine Silver hand made from PMC (see below.)

This heavy necklace drapes beautifully around your neck distributing the weight so that it is hardly noticeable!

To compare, Fine Silver is 99.9% pure silver. Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver with the remainder comprised of other metals (usually copper.)

PMC, or Precious Metal Clay, is made from super-fine particles of fine silver mixed with an organic binder resulting in clay. After creating a piece of jewelry, art, or other item from this clay, it is fired at very high temperatures in a kiln where the organic binders burn away leaving .999 pure silver also called Fine Silver.
