This fine sliver pendant made from PMC (see below) has a rolled bail from which the fan shaped pendant dangles by a soldered jump ring. The pendant is oxidized to show off it's lacy detail, and set with a natural pinkish-red ruby cabochon. The Sterling Silver snake chain has a lobster claw clasp. One of a kind pendant.

To compare, Fine Silver is 99.9% pure silver. Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver with the remainder comprised of other metals (usually copper.)

PMC, or Precious Metal Clay, is made from super-fine particles of fine silver mixed with an organic binder resulting in clay. After creating a piece of jewelry, art, or other item from this clay, it is fired at very high temperatures in a kiln where the organic binders burn away leaving .999 pure silver also called Fine Silver.
