I call this design Lava for the holes and dark lava-rock texture within it. The interior is oxidized to show off the detail of the interior rough texture. The exterior is a smooth mirror finish and is polished to a bright shine. Apple Agate and Hematite beads accent this piece, and add a touch of color. One of a kind pendant made from PMC (see below.)

To compare, Fine Silver is 99.9% pure silver. Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver with the remainder comprised of other metals (usually copper.)

PMC, or Precious Metal Clay, is made from super-fine particles of fine silver mixed with an organic binder resulting in clay. After creating a piece of jewelry, art, or other item from this clay, it is fired at very high temperatures in a kiln where the organic binders burn away leaving .999 pure silver also called Fine Silver.
