McCoy Yellow Ware Pottery Mixing Bowl

In very good condition this 8 inch across mixing bowl has a basket weave pattern around the sides with a 1 inch band of leaves.

Not marked on the bottom but quite often these pottery bowls were not marked. You can find this same bowl in green in Jeffrey B. Snyder's McCoy pottery book.

The bottom corner has an age old chip, may of happened when taking the bowl out of the kiln.

All over crazing just add's to the history of this utilitarian farm kitchen bowl from the late 194o's
