Circa 1900-1910, this reticulated edge plate shows an unusual design of leaves with gold trim, surrounding the central theme of peaches, grapes, plums and berries in a transfer design. The color is excellent, as is the condition of this plate. There is no wear to the plate’s surface, and there are no chips, crack or hairlines.

The back of this plate shows two tiny holes in it’s base. These holes were intentionally designed to accept a thin wire so that the plate could be hung decoratively on the wall. There is no sign of wear at these points, and it’s probable that these plates have never been hung. This plate is unmarked, but it consistent with plates made in Germany in this time period.
