SALE Vintage Unusual Pierced Rim (Reticulated) Plate with Colorful Fruit

From just after the turn of the last century, this decoratively pierced rim plate has unusual leaves encircling the center image of boldly colored fruit - a beautiful transfer of plums, grapes, berries, and peaches.

The unusual open-work rim shows three-dimensional leaves highlighted in gold, with the lightly scalloped plate edge also showing gold along it’s edge.

The back of this plate shows two tiny holes in it’s base. These holes were intentionally designed to accept a thin wire so that the plate could be hung decoratively on the wall. There is no sign of wear at these points, and it’s probable that these plates have never been hung. This plate is unmarked, but it consistent with plates made in Germany in this time period.

This is one of three plates available, each with different fruit as the central theme. If you are interested in all three, you may purchase them all for 15% off the total price.

Plate size is 8-1/4 inches in diameter. Condition is Excellent, with no wear to the surface, nor any chips, cracks or hairlines.
