Vintage real photo postcards showing people in their everyday lives are not the easiest to find, and this vintage postcard showing a full length portrait of a young graduate is so charming! She’s in her finest lacy white dress, in white stockings and special-day white leather shoes. Holding her diploma, she’s ready to face the world! Love that she is proudly wearing her wristwatch - maybe a graduation gift?

This photo was taken sometime around 1910. It’s in Very Good condition, showing only a bit of black paper on the reverse, from where it was attached to an album and safely stored for so many decades.
