1920s Photographic Pocket Mirror - Pretty Woman in Wicker Chair

Photographic celluloid pocket mirrors were quite the rage during the early part of the 1900s, and became even more popular after World War I. Each is a one-of-a-kind work of art - they often show the life and times of the Roaring Twenties, and document families, activities and individual life styles of those they picture.

This one - with it’s uncommon green background - features a young woman sitting in a Bar Harbor-style wicker chair. She is wearing a lovely pearl necklace, and showing a bracelet on her right wrist. Her hair is bobbed in the style of that 1920s time period.

This photo pocket mirror shows this young woman in her engagement picture; also have another pocket mirror showing this young woman and her husband on their wedding day. I’ve purchased an entire collection of 1920s pocket mirrors showing three different sisters from the same family.

Size of this mirror is 1-3/4 by 3 inches. It’s in Very Good Condition, with it’s mirror showing it’s age but with silvering still intact.
