The red color is a stand-out - it speaks of years of appreciation - someone liked this old carrier enough to color it rich red. It's perfect as a centerpiece for your country home. Use it for flowers, for silverware, for fruit, for your CDs, or for anything you wish to organize or show off in your home. This is the perfect example of the original recycling program - this carrier is meant to be used and enjoyed.

I love the subtle detail - just inside the handle are five old tacks (see photo). They've been there forever, and add just enough interesting character to make this carrier special.

Condition is Very Good - it shows it's age in all the right places - the edges, the handle, the corners. It is very sturdy and ready to be used. Size is 10" x 15-1/2" by 6-1/2" tall.
