Here's a pair of shoes made by Viva Americana ( designer name is stamped on shoe's sole ). Although the size reads 7 1/2 medium, they are more of a size 6 1/2. I wear a size 7 1/2 medium, although I can slip my foot into the toe area, it is a tight fit and the shoe is too short at the back on the foot bed...so, I figure a size 6 1/2 medium in today's sizing. Using a cloth tape measure on the sole or foot bed, it is 9 1/2 inches long ( not including the tip of the toe area ). 3 inches across on the sole at the widest area of the toe section. The best way to know if these shoes will fit you is to measure your favorite pair of shoes. The heels are 3 inches tall. The shoes are very clean on the inside soles ( this lady always wore hose, never bare footed in her shoes ). The sole has curled just slightly due to age ( circa 1970's ). The color is beautiful. They are in fine vintage condition. This lady had a room ( not a closet, a room ) in her house for her clothing and personal accessories. Everything kept in neat order and category. She even had a special duster made to enable her to reach high shelves for dusting. This item, along with the any other items I list from her estate, have never been offered in a vintage shop before. This is an item direct from the estate.
