Vintage Sterling Overlay Perfume Vanity Bottle Ornate Cage Top

Here's a beautiful piece..it is not painted sterling, it is an actual open work Gothic arches design sterling frame over lay , original to the bottle and not removable...beautiful beading on the top band creates a striking contrast to the arched designs of the body. The top which is original to the bottle has the beading around the rim at the crown. The sterling crown on the top is signed Sterling on the neck. The frosted glass part has rough edges and a vertical nick. The silver body over the glass is signed Sterling 296. The is one stress split that is minor ( just found it ) on the bottom band. The glass bottle is clear, however, does have minor white ashy areas...minor, but there. The entire item is 6 inches tall, a fabulous display size , not little.
