I used my postage scale set to grams to weigh this item because it is too large for my regular grams scale. This item weigh in at 306 grams . It is signed Sterling , however, after repeated tries, I cannot get the mark to show. It is guaranteed well signed Sterling. This item is a purse frame, but, truly would be stunning as an actual frame as shown. The handle is as beautiful as the frame being sunflowers or a Daisy type flower, one after another to form the entire handle. The frame is 7 1/2 inches long , 4 1/4 inches tall. It's an amazing piece for the serious collector. It has openwork lattice along the sides of the frame. Dear Putti or cupids adorn this frame in high relief. I took this outside to photograph it to show it the best possible. The numbers I was able to catch in a photo would represent the design or pattern number, not silver content. Another item found this week end while visiting my friend the Pink Poet near Washington DC. This item is from a fine Potomac Md estate. From me to you, a most magnificent piece of sterling
