The lovely dish is signed Royal Austria Hand Painted..it is both transfer and touches of hand painted. 7 inches long, with a shape that reminds me of a leaf. I adore the lush roses. There is wear to the lavish gilt rim, and it does have a few surface chips under the rim, and also a hairline under it......the surface chips are minor and due to use, also, does not change the shape of the dish because they are under the dish..believe me, it is a lovely little item that merits being saved....but, priced accordingly. A fabulous display item, lovely with tiny pink heart soaps etc. This item is from an estate of a lady that adored porcelain that featured flowers, especially roses. She also enjoyed entertaining friends for years in her home. From a small group playing cards to a ladies' tea, her table was always set with a theme. From me to you , the true love of Roses
