This book , well , I seldom put the word rare in my descriptions, but this book merits the term. This is the 1916 First Edition publisher is John Winston Company. 253 pages of instructions and guidance for furniture, paper dolls and outfits. 2 sets of each cut out...the black and white, followed by a semi stiff paper of full color cut outs that is the same as the previous black and white. Although this book is in fine condition, all of the color furniture pages have been cut out..only the cut outs of the paper dolls remain..the black and white cut outs furniture is intact though, so, at least you can see what the color page was of. That means 11 pages have been cut out...looks like all of it was furniture because it follows the black and white page of furniture. The fold out page with a diagram for the doll house is intact though, and that is usually missing. It has a small turned over edge, but, clean and intact. 9 inches tall , 7 inches wide...I used to collect antique dolls and antique toys ( still do, but try not to be tempted to buy more :-) And this book truly has been a favorite to display in the cabinet with the dolls. Jane Fryer taught domestic science and cooking in Baltimore...she moved to NJ and began to write a series of books devoted to instructing children in cooking , sewing and house keeping. The pages are in fine clean intact condition. The spine is good and tight. As you can see, the book is truly in fine condition, even with the missing color pages of the furniture. I will pay the USA shipping because I want to ship it priority in a well packed box ** Insurance is optional, if you do not want insurance check the deny insurance box on your purchase order ** From my cabinet of joys to you, I present a very wonderful, rare book
