Although this lovely bowl is not signed, it is fine porcelain. The scalloped rim is edged in golden-gilt. Along the sides inside the bowl are blush colors from pink blush fading to sage blush , lemon blush and so forth. The bottom center of the bow has the most beautiful transfer of a Geisha holding a fan. Her attire repeats the colors on the inner sides of the bowl. The entire effect is a work of art. The bowl is 9 inches diameter, 2 1/4 inches deep. From the early 1900's era. No wear, no fading to the transfer, this item has always been displayed in a cabinet.
