RC Antiques is a Ruby Lane Platinum Shop
I love antique buttons. Someday I need to separate all the antique buttons I have found through the years and offer them on Ruby Lane...in the meantime, I have decided to part with this lot of 6..all 6 are included in the price. The celluloid has dried dark, and found loose on the bottom of the box , no longer on the buttons. But, it protected the lithograph portrait well...and to be sure, these stay in the clean intact condition as shown, I am going to sell them. There are 3 that has the count in a yellow jacket, and 3 has the count in a blue jacket. Count Ferson was Swedish , however, many in his time believed he was having an affair with the French queen , Queen Antoinette. He is a very interesting character if you are not familiar with him, he is worth the Google. Anyway, each button has a metal back and the metal ring intact on the back. The buttons are 1 1/4 inch diameter. The lithographed image, as you can see, is in fine clean condition..only 1 button has a little residue of the celluloid on the inner rim. These buttons are circa 1890's. Please study the photos by using the Ruby Lane enlarge photo option to view the condition and beauty of these rare buttons. From my cabinet to you, 6 rare jewels for the button collector
