Vintage Purse Deco Beaded Ornate with Chenille Trim

Here's a purse that is a work of art. From the early 1900's era. The body is lush black velvet. The bottom is ruched to create a small platform bottom, of which a wonderful chenille fringe is suspended by a cord and black velvet cube. The top frame is the purse has tight bead work of stunning Lapis-blue , pine green and silvery gray. The design is a deco abstract design. The velvet handle of the purse is thread bare in a few spots, so, this was a purse that was enjoyed..and can be enjoyed today if very gentle with it. It is 9 1/2 inches long, not including the handle or the tassel. The frame is 8 1/2 inches across, the body of the purse a little less. The bead work is in amazing fine condition, strong and intact. I do see a few stray threads, but, I do not see any loose beads there. I see perhaps 1 or 2 beads missing near the top. Open the purse and you will see, 2 sections ( see photos ). The frames to open both sections are worn, however, the wear is cloth..the frames inside were covered in black cloth..first interior frame is fine, the center or next frame, worn almost bare exposing metal frame under it. So, wear but not to the bead work , how wonderful is that !
