There was a time that I would buy just about every stick pin or stick pin box I would happen upon...it was as though I was addicted to them...So, you can imagine how it is around here, going through drawers to find something, only to keep coming upon beautiful stick pins...it treat that I will always enjoy...But, some stick pins such as this one, need to be sold and enjoyed. Although not signed,it tested 10K positive on my Mizar tester. It is just shy of 3 inches long and it is in fantastic ready to enjoy condition. The faceted sapphire center is deep blue and could possibly be a real gem...but, I think it is deep sapphire glass cut to resemble a real gem. The glass is 1/4 inch tall. The box is not original to the stick pin, but from the same era. The box is so wonderful by itself. Rich deep royal blue velvet with a cream sating lining...Wonderful little white celluloid push button clasp. It has a Chambersburg Pa jewelry store as the original store name on the inside lid. The box is in amazing clean strong almost like new condition. From me to you, one of my favorite treasures
