Vintage Needlework Upholstery Hand Worked Pansy Flowers

This is a large piece that looks to have once been on a large chair, or perhaps a large stool. The entire piece is 27 inches x 25 inches..however, the needlework section that can be used is around 14 inches x 12 inches...this is the measurement of the fine no problems area of the piece where the needlepoint pansy flowers are...it is an item I found the other day while out in search of treasures. The item is made of heavy canvas..a good age estimate would be no later than the 1940's. It is clean with no smells etc. The area outside the 14 x 12 has tears here and there from when it was removed from whatever it once was on. The colors are vivid and yet have aged just right for the beauty that only age can acquire. I am sure it was once in a fine home due to the area this piece came from ( near the Washington D.C. area ). From me to you, the Pansy garden to adorn your home
