This beautiful item is circa 1900. It is well signed 14k as shown along with a hall mark. 3 1/8 inches long...it has the original pencil intact...and the original hang loop/ring. The diamonds are guaranteed real, same with the Ruby..and all are original to the item. Fine condition. It weighs 12 grams , including the pencil tip. Slight dimple on the end where the pencil is, but very minor. These items are seldom seen and often mistaken for a needle case ..however, the pencil is original to the item, therefore, after much research and after much review, the conclusion is that this is indeed a gambler's pencil case...USA shipping is free, your only cost is the insurance which is optional but recommended
