If you enjoy the rich warm color of maroon wine, you will simply adore this item. The color is lush rich deep maroon with a beautiful gloss finish. The edges are hand painted golden-gilt. This piece has no chips or cracks. The original label is intact on the bottom as shown. The lid is 5 1/4 inches x 4 1/4 inches, the bottom a little smaller. The slightest spot of wear on the top like a tiny white rub ...due to the high gloss finish it is very hard to detect. It can be enjoyed as it is, or used many different ways.
