This wonderful antique brooch is in the design of a sword or dagger in sheath. The sword comes out of the sheath but is attached to the sheath by a slender chain. The pin is beautifully embellished with an intricate design. The brooch is 2 ½ inches long and ½ inch across and in outstanding condition. The brooch tests positive for silver. The “C” clasp of the brooch dates it to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The pin back was missing which I had replaced by an expert vintage jeweler. A fabulous ...
