This large and lovely antique Arts and Crafts sterling silver brooch features a skillfully hand wrought open work design of birds in flight. The brooch is 2 ¼ inches square and in outstanding condition. There is some very minor pitting, primarily on the back of the pin. It is marked “Sterling” on the reverse. This wonderful antique brooch is in the design of a sword or dagger in sheath. The sword comes out of the sheath but is attached to the sheath by a slender chain. The pin is beautifully embellished with an intricate design. The brooch is 2 ½ inches long and ½ inch across and in outstanding condition. The brooch tests positive for silver.
