I am a published ROMANCE novelist, and a lover of the beauty and romance in so many of the items we use everyday. We only go around once--let's do it with style!
I’m frequently asked about my logo picture—my two cats. They are Mufasa and Simba (my Lion Kings!) They are 4 years old, and are a rare breed of Siamese known as Khao Manee, the royal cat of Siam! I use them as my shop's logo because they perfectly symbolize what my shop is all about: the beautiful, the exceptional, the rare and hard to find!
Please know that I make every effort to give you full, complete, and accurate descriptions of the antiques and vintage collectibles offered in my shop. I check my items carefully, and if I detect any sort of flaw, defect, or unusual circumstance I will detail it in my description, and offer a picture pinpointing the area in question, if at all possible.
Please also note that for all antiques and vintage collectibles that are “signed” or “hallmarked” by the maker I will always try to show you a picture of that “signature mark” so you can “see” it for yourself. At times this is quite difficult because the “mark” is very tiny or otherwise difficult to photograph, but I will still display a picture of it—even fuzzy, if I can do no better.
I use the word “mint” in my descriptions sparingly. To me “mint” means “exactly as it left the manufacturer”. I only use “mint” if I have excellent reason to believe the antique or vintage collectible is in such state (i.e. pristine in the original box, etc.). However, I use the term “near mint” frequently. I make every effort to only offer quality merchandise, and often I can find no flaw or defect in the item--but I know, as I’m sure you do, that most antique and vintage collectible items are “previously owned”, and I want to allow for that circumstance.
As always, I welcome any questions or comments you may have.
Thanks for browsing my shop! We hope you'll return often.
