This pair of syrocowood candleholders are really unusual and beautiful. The diameter is 4” and stand about 1 ¼” tall. The stamp on the back of this 14” in diameter chop plate indicates the years 1936-1973. I believe it is a second since there is a bit of color missing on the edge. This is a great looking hanky from 1956. It has the calendar and a flower depicting each month. January – Carnation, February-Violets, March – Jonquil, April – Sweet Peas, May – Lillies of the Valley, June-Rose, July-Larkspur, August – Gladiolus, September-Aster, October – Calendula, November – Chrysanthemum and December – Poinsettia. This hankie has a scalloped edge with no tears, rips, holes or stains.

I love this hankie with its brown and aqua color. It is raining cats and dogs with a lady walking her dog with an umbrella. It is signed Rutherford and is in very good condition with no stains or tears. It has a tiny hole that you can see in the pictures. It does not detract from this wonderful 1950’s piece. Approximate size is 13 ½” square.

These almost look like antlers but they are made of a heavy plastic. There are 6 in all with one having a small chip. Please look at pictures to see this. They are brownish on one side and cream on the other side. Overall size is 1 ½” in length and ½” in diameter at widest part.

Written by Winnifred Shattuck in 1946 this children’s book is about a peddler in Ninking, China selling his colored threads but really wanting to sail a boat. The story is all about a dragon and this young boy. Fun story for your little reader. Spiral bound with size being 7’ x 8” with name of first owner on inside cover. All pages are intact. The artist for this book was Bernice Oehler.

A souvenir boot shoe came from Pennsylvania and has a decal of the liberty bell on front of boot. Overall size is 4” tall and a little less then 3” in length. It is a light aqua in color with navy blue trim. I believe this is from the 1960’s or before. In very good condition.

These safety glasses were never worn or at least they don’t look like they were. This type of spectacles eyeglass were worn in an auto that had no windshield or a motorbike. Clear glass with leather sides are in super condition and are still in their protective metal case.

This is a Hart News Photo Puzzle and a picture of the “American Landing in the Solomon Islands”. The puzzle like others in the series is made from an actual news photo of our Armed Forces in Action. It was made by the Leo Hart Co. of Rochester, New York. The pieces have some unusual shapes such as guns, hearts, rockets etc. and there are over 300 pieces (they are all there since I put the puzzle together). The approximate size is 14” X 19”. The little bib has a tiny button in the back to fasten around the baby’s neck (3” in diameter) and is made out of a cotton eyelet material with a lace edging of same color. It has a light flannel type material as a backing. There is one tiny little stain on this piece but otherwise in perfect condition. I have zoomed in on stain so it actually looks bigger then it is. Overall size is 7 ¾” x 9” at widest width.

They may be pinochle cards since the only card I see through the package is a 10. The little red handle is some type of plastic. It is a very unique and interesting piece.
