The plate is a scalloped 5 ¾” in diameter display piece with a hole on top to hang on the wall. The saying on the plate is “In prosperity Friends are plenty, In adversity not one in twenty.” Rather appropriate in this time. It is from the 1930’s and is in very good condition except for some crazing due to age. It has large cabbage pink roses and a couple of birds plus the saying. Original corded rope is still attached. Very unusual and interesting piece.

I am not sure exactly what this is but I call it a creamer or planter but what I really think it might be is a nettie pot. It fits into your hand perfect and the big toe is a spout of some type. What ever it is or isn’t it is quite the conversational piece. Overall size of this porcelain foot is 4 ¼” in length and 1 ¾” at widest. The flowers look like pink apple blossoms or dogwood. Check out the pictures to see more detail on excellent conditioned piece. No chips, cracks or dings.
