1950's Ruby Red Sparkling Brooch

This deep ruby red snowflake is made up of 15 oblong prong set stones joined with 25 small round prong set stones dancing about one round center stone, also prong set, to create one very beautiful broach. Shamefully large it measures 2 & ½ inches wide and long to be certain to catch the eye and make your statement for you. It is unmarked, but I just love these pins from the 40's and 50's, they were so “American”, so “In your face” and “Hey, I’m here!”.

The stones are in beautiful shape and the gold tone settings show no ware. The pin action is a little loose, but when the locking clasp is closed it is defiantly solid and secure.
