The 1899,VF 8 Indian Head Penny is the Star of this collection of 8 Indian head pennies ranging in dates of 1891,1899,1903,1906,1907 and 1909. There are two 1906 and 1907 cents. All Seven letters in the word Liberty are clearly noted on the headdress of Lady Liberty in the 1899 coin. Her feather details are still sharp and crisp, very little ware is evident on this coin. Sometimes Costume Jewelry can take your breath away. This Set is one such event. If memory serves, these are from the 1940's and are looking good to this day. On a gold tone and black enamel circle rest 4 tiny and detailed leaves with stems, a large faux pearl is held in the center of the leaves by a pronged setting. The earrings each measure ½ inch across with good working screw backs, the larger circle pin is one inch across with a secure locking clasp.
