Here is a lovely set of Early American Pattern Glass sauce bowls. Some sources refer to this pattern as "Harvard" and others refer to it as "Harvard Yard." After conferring with an expert, it is my understanding that the original name for the pattern is "Harvard," and that is what is often used now, although it has been called "Harvard Yard" in the past. This pressed glass pattern was made by Tarentum Glass Company in Pennsylvania in 1896.

DIMENSIONS: The bowls measure about 4 1/2 inches (10.8 cm) wide and long.

CONDITION: Five of the bowls are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. One bowl has two rim chips; one chip measures about 3/8 inch (1 cm) and the other about 1/2 inch (1.5 cm).
