This is a great earthenware platter made by John Edwards in the late 1800s in Fenton, England. The pattern is "Keswick" and has a spider web like edge in green with green and brown flowers and green swags. The central potion of the platter is white. The underglaze mark reads "Porcellaine de Terre Trade Mark John Edwards England Keswick" with some other letters and numbers below. There are also two incised marks one reading "Ideal Rd. 2082" and another reads "E 12" over "95". The platter is approximately 1 1/4 inches high and has a length of about inches 14 1/2 and a width of about 10 1/4 inches. There are no nicks, chips or cracks. It would be lovely gracing a shelf in your home!
