Embossed Valentine Postcard Cupid's Diary
Here is a postally used embossed Valentine postcard. The background of the card is a blue and white flower pattern. On top of that is a pattern that looks like wood grain, representing a table perhaps. On the table sits Cupid's Diary open. On the left page, Cupid sits at his desk with bow and arrows leaning against the table leg. He writes with a quill pen and ink. The words "Cupid's Diary" appear at the top of that page. The right page reads, "To my Valentine. . ./ Naughty Cupid/ Elfin Sprite/ Begins his Valentines/ To write." A bookmark and a butterfly appear at the bottom of the page. The postcard is numbered 502 on the front. The letters "S. L. & Co." appear in a circle with wings at the lower left corner on the reverse. The card is postmarked February 11, 1910 Goshen, IN.
DIMENSIONS: It measures about 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches or 8.9 by 13.9 cm.
CONDITION: The card is postally used; it has rounded corners and slight corner and edge wear.
