Here is a nice pre-linen postally unused postcard of "The Georgia State Capitol. Atlanta, GA." The card is signed "Oilette" in the lower right hand corner. Further information on the reverse reads, "The State Capitol of Georgia is located in Atlanta, on of the most progressive cities in the South. The State has an area of 59,475 square miles, and has as its flower the Cherokee rose. Georgia, one of the original thirteen colonies, was named in 1732, in honour of King George II. of England."
The card was printed in England and published by Raphael Tuck & Sons; it is part of the "Oilette" State Capitols, U. S. A. series. It is numbered 2454 on the reverse.
DIMENSIONS: It measures 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches or 8.9 by 13.9 cm.
CONDITION: This card is in very good condition with corner and edge wear including creasing at the upper left corner.
