This very unusual Norse or Celtic cross by David Andersen is made of sterling silver with a light gold vermeil wash, finished with vitreous glass (kiln-fired) enamel in vibrant cobalt blue. The cross itself measures 1 3/16" by 13/16" (without the bail); with bale and loop, it is 1 7/16" tall.

The cross has lovely trefoil details at the extremities and a ring around the intersection; the enamel is applied over a surface that has center ridges, giving the piece a very three-dimensional look.

The piece is in excellent vintage condition, with no damage to the enamel. The back is marked "D-A Norway Sterling 925S."
