SOLD Vintage Hroar Prydz Sterling Enamel Norway Leaf Brooch Pin

This gorgeous vintage brooch is by renowned Norwegian enamelist Hroar Prydz. The piece is a work of art, with fine detailing, from the realistic basse-taille veins to the subtle variations in color. The leaf goes from gold to green to copper, and looks like it is just preparing to fall from an autumn tree.

The brooch also has a wonderful, three-dimensional shape, with the edges crinkling and the center dipping as in real life. Measuring 2" by 2", this large pin is in excellent condition. The back has a roll-over safety clasp and is signed "Sterling 925S Norway" along with the maker's mark for Hroar Prydz.
