This elegant vintage spoon is by Turner & Simpson of Birmingham. Made of sterling silver, it is very unusual in that it has enameling on the convex side of the bowl. The kiln-fired (vitreous glass) enamel is in a pretty shade of mint green, and it has a cloisonne design in the form of red rambling Mackintosh roses with black leaves, silver vines, and a spider's cobweb. This classic David-Andersen spoon is in his famous "City Hall with Fan (Raadhus med vifte)" pattern. Made of sterling silver with a gold vermeil wash, the spoon is finished with vitreous glass (kiln-fired) enamel in pearlescent, translucent white. The enamel is applied over a textured surface. This dainty and elegant demitasse spoon is by Jakob Tostrup of Norway. Made of sterling silver, the spoon is finished with vitreous glass (kiln-fired) enamel in pale green on its handle. The top of the handle is in the form of a thistle. Measuring 3 3/4", the spoon is in excellent condition. The back of the handle is signed "sterling J.Tostrup Norway" along with Tostrup's mark of a tankard.
