Dating from the early 1950s this fun brooch features a island dude playing a Bakelite bongo drum, he has a rose gold colored setting and is enameled in a teal color. It measures 2 by 1 1/4 inches and is 1/2 inch in depth with the very dimensional design, the details are wonderful-just look at his expression. These type pieces were originally produced in groups with each piece having a different type of instrument with a Bakelite piece incorporated in the design. He is not signed and in superb condition, looks to have never been worn.
