1930-1940 Clear-Glass Lady Statuette - Lamp Centerpiece - Flower Frog

This is a strikingly beautiful glass statue of a modest maiden, arms folded across her breast, who once stood in the center of a gorgeous bouquet of pink glass flower petals and green glass leaves. She was part of a unique lamp, and her base is encircled with the holes where the green-taped wiring came through and held the lights within the flowers.

I remember this fantastic lamp when I was a little girl in the 1940’s, but I have no idea how old it was even then. The glass flowers and leaves are long gone, but the delightful icy-glass lady is still in perfect condition, and very collectible.

The pictures don’t do justice to the special beauty of this heavy glass vintage statuette. She measures 9” tall, and about 4” at the base. This piece must be quite rare, and she is definitely a real treasure from yesteryear!
