Rare English Antique Silver Plated Quail's Egg Cruet c. 1880 - Water Lillies

This is the first one of these I have ever seen or owned, an elegant way to serve Quail's eggs.
The base stands on three bun feet and is shaped in the shape of a lily pad leaf and further enhanced with the leaf veins having been engraved adding to it's decorative appeal.
There are three cups for the eggs with an outer decorative casing in the from of the Water Lily flowers. At the top of the handle sits a decorative Quail; a wonderful piece for the bird lover or Quail's egg devotee.
The underside is marked with a crown, a fleur de lys and P G S .. the makers mark which unfortunately I have not been able to identify.
A wonderful unusual piece in excellent condition, measuring 6 1/2" long x 3 3/4" at widest x 5" tall.
