A nice guage of silver and fairly heavy for it's diminutive size, measuring just 1 1/8" x 7/8".
The front has a beautiful repousse "Stamps" together with some very decorative engraving. The top too, retains it's original small ring so could easily be worn as an unusual piece of jewelry.
The front has a little catch which is in perfect working order and snaps firmly closed.
The case and flap are both hallmarked for Birmingham 1909 together with the makers mark C N for Crisford and Norris.
Superb undamaged condition and has the bonus of an original Victorian Penny Red inside.
