A truly delightful pair of French opera glasses dating to around 1900 made predominantly from solid brass and finished in a silver coloured metal, polished pewter or similar.

The two barrels are wrapped with a repousse casing featuring birds and berries, quite charming and most unusual.

The lenses are undamaged and clear, the telescopic focus mechanism is in full working order.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/4" wide x 2 3/4" expanding to 3 1/2".
