A very large magnifying glass, always useful to have on one;s desk; the lens of this one has a huge 4" diameter and this part itself is of course new, so clear and very usable.

The embossed solid or sterling silver collar attaching the handle to the glass is where the hallmark for Sheffield 1909 can be found together with the makers initials L S.

The handle is solid or sterling silver too magnificently decorated on the front with a Champagne coloured guilloche enamel, which remains undamaged and without chips or cracks.

Superb and very usable, and in excellent condition measuring 9 1/4" in length.
