English Sterling Silver and Tortoise Shell Photograph Frame

A really very attractive example of an oval upright photograph frame made a little more special with the decorative line and ribbon repousse detailing to the edge of the silver.

The tortoiseshell matting has beautiful markings from pale champagne to deep chocolate brown, and a beautiful glossy sheen.

The silver has a good clear hallmark for Birmingham 1929 together with the makers mark H & H Ld.

Excellent condition with a total size measuring 5 3/4" x 4 1/8" with a glazed aperture of 4" x 2 1/2".
