An absolutely wonderful little cut crystal vanity jar made much more unusual with it's pretty lid.

Made of solid or sterling silver, the domed lid is decorated with a raised mount (I think more a moth than a butterfly) with the wings inset with pretty iridescent mother of pearl.

The side of the lid is where the English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1911.

Excellent undamaged condition measuring 2" in diameter x 2" high.
